Qualifications

• Current journeyman commercial/industrial electrician license.
• At least four years of journeyman-level experience within the past seven years.
• Qualified person status per NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
• All required licenses and certifications for assigned work.
• Ability to complete required site, safety, security, base access, and refresher trainings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical power distribution and utilization systems up to 600 volts.
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, and repair switches, lighting, wiring, conduit, motors, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Coordinate planned outages and minimize disruption to mission-critical operations.
• Follow lockout/tagout, electrical-safety, hazard-control, PPE, and other safety requirements.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and safeguard government property.
