Job summary

M.C. Dean in the United States seeks a Stationary Operations Engineer to oversee all stationary equipment in a mission-critical facility.

You will operate, maintain, and monitor boilers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable performance. This role requires reading blueprints and sequence of operations, performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with other teams to resolve problems quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; ability to obtain & maintain HSPD & Secret, preferred HSPD-12 & Secret Active.
• Experience operating, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting central utility plant and institutional mechanical systems in mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor boilers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and control systems to ensure safe, reliable performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections; document readings and actions.
• Diagnose malfunctions, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
