Qualifications

• 4 year degree required; license eligibility preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry focusing on multi-state tax.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with state income/franchise tax and related filings.
• Conduct technical research on state tax laws and regulatory changes.
• Analyze client data to identify filing obligations and exposures.
• Support state tax audits, notices and controversy matters.
• Maintain relationships across service lines and teams.
• Develop expertise in state tax and communicate insights to clients.
• Manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in training initiatives.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
