HCSC seeks a Government Affairs professional to strengthen relations with state governments, insurance departments, Medicaid agencies and related bodies. The role focuses on spotting regulatory opportunities to advance business and policy objectives while coordinating with internal teams to support key government accounts.

The position is a Flex (Hybrid) role in which three days are in office and two days remote; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years legislative and regulatory advocacy experience.
• Familiarity with Legislative/regulatory experience with State Department of Insurance, State Medicaid agency, or State Legislature.
• Knowledge of managed care/health insurance industry.
• Verbal and written communication skills to include writing, editing, disseminating complex information clearly.
• Independent judgment skills and PC proficiency with Word and internet-based tracking.
