Qualifications

• Proficiency in algorithm design and software development with C/C++, Python, and Matlab.
• Strong knowledge of target tracking techniques such as Kalman filters, particle filters, and multi-target tracking (JPDA, MHT, or PHD).
• Experience in state estimation, including Bayesian filtering and sensor fusion.
• Solid understanding of linear algebra, optimization, probability, and stochastic processes.
• Knowledge of signal processing for radar, lidar, EO/IR data.
• Familiarity with big data pipelines and NoSQL databases.
• Background in machine learning as applied to target tracking.

Responsibilities

• Define and influence the direction of a small team on tracking and state estimation.
• Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms for tracking, sensor fusion, and state estimation.
• Develop high-performance software for real-time systems, simulations, and decision support tools.
• Design and implement robust filters, estimators, and probabilistic reasoning for noisy sensor data.
• Analyze system performance using simulations and statistical techniques to validate benefits.
• Drive customer success by tailoring algorithms for mission-critical use cases.
• Integrate tracking and estimation technologies into the software development lifecycle.
• Translate technical progress into clear insights for diverse stakeholders.
