Job summary

Fello's Self-Directed Services team seeks a Senior Stakeholder Relations Specialist to provide admin and customer service support for escalated accounts payable and financial reporting inquiries. You will work cross-functionally to promote efficient resolution strategies and ensure accurate processing within the Medicaid FMCS framework.

Senior Stakeholder Relations Specialist

The Senior Stakeholder Relations Specialist provides administrative and customer service support focused on escalated inquiries from participants or their team members related to Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting processing. The Senior Stakeholder Relations Specialist will collaborate across the team to promote the most efficient and effective resolution strategies across all Self-Directed Services processes. This position will be cross-trained in all Self-Directed Services processes.

This role is within Fello's Self-Directed Services department. Fello contracts with the Maryland Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) as a Financial Management and Counseling Services (FMCS) provider. In this Medicaid program, participants act as the Employer of Record: they hire their own workers and choose their services while Fello handles all administrative tasks, including payroll and bill payment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a background in finance-related customer service, with hands‑on experience in financial reporting and accounts payable. They should demonstrate attention to detail and manage complex inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and independently under pressure. A commitment to process improvement, stakeholder satisfaction, and respectful, clear communication will be key to success in this role.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED; a bachelors degree in a related field is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in finance-related customer service—particularly in financial reporting and accounts payable is also required.
