Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Senior Staffing and Scheduling Specialist to support Acute Care nursing leaders and staff through staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and operations.

Under general supervision, you will create, manage, and maintain staff schedules across units, review leave and availability, and ensure safe patient ratios while delivering high levels of service to internal and external guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
• Experience with scheduling and timekeeping systems.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication with staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and maintain staff schedules in the electronic scheduling system.
• Coordinate department onboarding and orientation for new team members.
• Edit timekeeping records and revise schedules due to staffing changes.
• Attend daily house-wide bed meetings to anticipate patient flow.
• Provide guest service and resolve scheduling concerns promptly.
