Job summary

VIRGO AND ARIES LLC is seeking a Director of Sales (Staffing Industry) to lead new client acquisition within professional staffing, with a strong hunter mindset and an extensive industry network. This remote role targets mid-market and enterprise clients and involves managing the full sales cycle from outreach to onboarding.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of staffing sales or recruiting experience, proven revenue success, and the ability to travel 2–3 times per year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of successful staffing sales or recruiting industry experience (IT, F&A, Engineering, or other professional verticals).
• Proven track record of acquiring new mid-market and enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding individual revenue goals.
• Strong relationships within the staffing and talent ecosystem (TA, Procurement, MSP, CW).
• Strong hunter mentality and ability to independently generate new business.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 2–3 times per year.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Candidates with primarily healthcare or light-industrial staffing backgrounds will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new mid-market and enterprise clients in professional staffing.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach through contract execution and onboarding.
• Develop and execute a strategic business-development plan focused on revenue growth.
• Navigate complex sales cycles and influence decision-makers across TA, Procurement, HR, and Operations.
• Leverage an established staffing industry network to accelerate opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with prospects, clients, and industry partners.
• Identify opportunities to expand direct-hire and contingent staffing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal fulfillment and account teams to ensure successful client launches.
• Attend industry events and conferences as needed.
