Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead critical product development initiatives for our Linear Generator—from early program definition through manufacturing handoff and ramp.

In this role you will own complex, multi-disciplinary programs, drive alignment across engineering and operations teams, surface risks early, and enable informed decision-making at the executive level.

Qualifications

15+ years of program leadership experience in hardware development environments.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and manufacturing.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience delivering programs from concept through production and scale-up.
Knowledge of risk management and manufacturing readiness processes.

Responsibilities

Own and drive complex product development programs from concept to production.
Frame tradeoffs, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and drive alignment when priorities compete.
Communicate clearly with senior leadership and external partners to drive decisions, provide program visibility, and escalate risks.
Partner with engineering, reliability, test, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to align priorities and streamline execution.
Drive programs through NPI, manufacturing handoff, and production ramp, ensuring readiness across design, supply chain, and operations.
Leverage Jira and enterprise data systems to improve program transparency and execution discipline.
Identify technical, operational, and schedule risks early; lead mitigation planning and execution across teams.
