Mainspring Energy in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to lead critical product development initiatives for our Linear Generator—from early program definition through production ramp.

You will own multi-disciplinary programs, drive alignment across engineering and operations, surface risks early, and communicate with executives to enable informed decisions. This hybrid role offers a base salary with stock options and benefits.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of program leadership experience in hardware or systems environments.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
• Executive communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Technical foundation in hardware or controls engineering.
• Experience delivering products through full development lifecycle, including manufacturing scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of complex hardware/software product development programs.
• Frame tradeoffs, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and set priorities.
• Communicate with senior leadership and external partners to drive decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, reliability, test, operations, and supply chain.
• Drive manufacturing readiness, handoff, and production ramp.
• Leverage Jira and data systems to improve transparency and execution.
• Identify risks early and lead mitigation across teams.
