Aurora is seeking a Senior Staff TLM, Electrical Engineering - HPE in Mountain View, CA to lead an EE team responsible for LiDAR and hardware development. You will define architecture, drive test plans, and shepherd products from concept through production with a focus on performance and reliability.

You will partner with mechanical, validation, and supply chain teams, mentor engineers, and help mature processes for manufacturing while supporting a safe, high-quality product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in electrical or computer engineering.
• 10+ years in hardware development.
• 4+ years leading electrical engineering teams.
• Expert in system architecture and signal integrity.
• Experience with hardware productization and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead an exceptional team of electrical engineers for LiDAR and hardware products.
• Collaborate to gather requirements, define HW architecture, and deliver high-performance designs.
• Guide the team to build, test, and debug LiDAR and hardware products with advanced equipment.
• Mature development processes to meet safety, execution and quality requirements.
• Partner with mechanical, operations, and validation teams to mature designs for manufacturing.
• Plan and promote hiring to meet future product roadmap.
• Coordinate with program management to manage project deliverables.
• Identify suppliers and processes with supply chain and NPI teams.
• Leverage product development expertise from concept to production.
