Job summary

Counterpart Health is seeking an experienced Site Reliability and Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain a scalable platform supporting global workloads. You’ll work on declarative infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes cluster management to ensure reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of programming experience, strong Kubernetes expertise, and proficiency with CNCF tools and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of programming experience with Python, Go, or Shell scripting.
Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes).
Experience with CNCF-based tools (Helm, gRPC, Prometheus).
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong networking fundamentals and Linux administration.
Familiarity with SRE concepts: monitoring, performance tuning, automation.

Responsibilities

Build declarative infrastructure and application lifecycle management systems, including CI/CD and Kubernetes cluster administration.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, reduce downtime, and respond to alerts efficiently.
Influence SRE direction to align with company objectives.
Promote collaboration and cross-functional teamwork in a remote-first environment.
Automate infrastructure processes, delivery pipelines, and database changes.
