Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer for a remote role in the United States.

You will design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud platform infrastructure using Kubernetes and AWS to support mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, deep expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, and AWS, and a strong track record delivering IaC, CI/CD, and observability.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale production platforms.
Advanced expertise with Kubernetes, Linux, and AWS.
Strong automation and IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability in cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient platform infrastructure leveraging Kubernetes and AWS services.
Drive reliability, performance, observability, and automation initiatives across production environments.
Develop and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and operational tooling to improve platform efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues across distributed systems.
Partner with engineering teams to implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and operational excellence.
