Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to help design, implement and operate the cloud infrastructure behind one of the world’s largest identity platforms. You will drive scalable, secure deployments and reliability across production services, working with Development and Operations in a true DevOps model.

You will build automated CI/CD pipelines, monitor systems for resiliency and cost efficiency, and mentor teams on best practices while contributing to a culture that values

Qualifications

• Experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally GCP.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) programming.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization.
• Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments.
• Understanding deployment automation best practices.
• Experience using Git in a team environment.
• CS Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions for cloud-based software and services.
• Develop optimized CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality deployments.
• Build and support infrastructure and security technologies in the cloud.
• Communicate clearly with diverse audiences and mentor others.
• Participate in planning and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform technology evaluation and selection.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for cloud maintenance.
