Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Staff Project Engineer to lead project engineering across aerospace programs, from concept through production. You will manage budgets, timelines, risks, and coordinate across electrical, mechanical, and software domains to deliver space-flight capable systems.

The role requires strong project management, QA, and communication skills, plus experience with aerospace development and space life-cycle processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in a relevant engineering field from an accredited university.
• 12 years of industry experience in a relevant engineering or project position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, budgets, risks and report to leadership.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure proper resourcing and scheduling.
• Present design reviews and status reports to customers and executives.
