SCAN Health Plan in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to design and implement scalable, secure architectures supporting Azure cloud migration, microservices, and emerging technologies.

You will partner with product managers, architects, and development teams to drive DevOps, CI/CD, FinOps, governance, and architecture standards, delivering reliable, high-performance systems for members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture or related roles.
• Proven expertise with Azure Cloud services, microservices, and DevOps practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with product managers and architects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for cloud and integration solutions and vendor evaluations.
• Design scalable, secure architecture and governance frameworks across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Product Management and System Architects to define solution components.
• Guide Agile teams to align with architectural goals and ensure quality deliverables.
• Establish monitoring, FinOps, and cost-optimization practices for cloud workloads.
