Thyme Care is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the New Initiatives team to shape the technical direction for an AI-enabled oncology platform, collaborating with clinical, operations, product, and leadership to deliver high-impact, production-grade solutions.

This hands-on role covers front-end and back-end work with Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, Postgres, and AWS, focusing on scalable architecture, automated decisioning, and compliant, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading zero-to-one software initiatives.
• Hands-on expertise in full-stack development and system design.
• Strong background with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience building scalable APIs and data models for production.

Responsibilities

• Set technical vision for a major AI-enabled initiative from discovery to production.
• Collaborate with clinical, policy, product, and operations leaders to translate care workflows into reliable systems.
• Own long-term architecture across web interfaces, APIs, data services, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build polished front-end experiences with Vue.js and TypeScript and back-end services with Python and FastAPI in AWS.
• Lead the design and productionization of LLM-powered capabilities for high-stakes decisions.
