Job summary

Amplitude is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI-native, full-stack engineering team in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will design and build full-stack apps and tools, connect AI and automation across diverse business systems, and push the evolution of our tooling to accelerate delivery and velocity.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of your work, collaborating with data, product, and finance teams to enable cross-system reporting and reliable revenue recognition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience shipping and running production services.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• Full-stack development across frontend, backend, tools and integrations.
• Experience with data warehouses and SQL-based systems.
• Ability to translate business problems to technical solutions.
• Experience with frontier AI tooling including harnesses, MCP servers, and agents.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack apps and tools for high-leverage operational use cases.
• Build service connectors enabling AI and automation across systems.
• Evolve tools and processes to increase team velocity and simplify tech stack.
• Drive end-to-end reconciliation across financial systems for cross-system reporting.
• Own what you build across the full software development lifecycle.
