Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who can design, develop, and troubleshoot advanced software solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will work on high-performance platforms, influence architecture, and leverage AI-assisted tools to improve quality and delivery speed.

You will contribute across the SDLC, participate in peer reviews, and ensure secure coding practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Extensive Java development experience with Spring or similar framework.
• Expert understanding of data structures, algorithms & multi-threaded programming.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions.
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectures and applicability.
