Job summary

Aurora Innovation seeks a Senior Staff Security Software Engineer to drive security architecture and development for the onboard vehicle platform and cloud services. You will design and implement security systems, lead integration with partner teams, and mentor engineers while advancing cryptographic, infrastructure, and network security practices.

This role reports to the CISO and requires production-grade code in C++ and Golang in vehicle and cloud contexts.

Qualifications

• Must write production-quality code in C++ and Golang.
• Experience in security architecture and threat modeling.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design/Architect security systems for Aurora’s onboard vehicle and cloud platforms.
• Lead hands-on implementation of vehicle and cloud security capabilities.
