Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff RF Engineer to lead board-level RF electronics design for satellite and aerospace products. You will own RF circuits from concept through layout, simulations, testing, and in-orbit support, delivering robust front-ends, converters, filters, and phased array components.

The role requires 8+ years in RF design, experience with CST/ADS and Altium, and strong communication skills to present design reviews and proposals in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of RF design, analysis, testing.
• Experience with CST, ADS, Altium.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments (VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead board-level RF schematic and PCB layout.
• Develop RF front-ends, converters, filters, and phased array components.
• Present design reviews to customers and executives.
• Support proposal writing and in-orbit operations.
