Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior RF Engineer II to lead RF circuit design for satellite and aerospace systems in a startup-like environment. You will own board-level schematic design, PCB layout, and RF system concepts including link budgets and modulation schemes.

The role requires hands-on experience with RF hardware, lab instruments, and experience delivering designs from concept through qualification and in-orbit support. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of industry experience in RF electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design RF circuits and systems through all development phases.
• Create board-level schematics and PCB layout for RF circuits.
• Apply link budgets, modulation schemes, and phased array concepts in system design.
• Prepare design review materials for customers and executives.
