OneTrust seeks a Senior Staff Quality Engineer - SDET to define the automation strategy for a vast AI-ready governance platform. You will shape end-to-end testing of AI-enabled features, agentic workflows, and cloud-based SaaS across privacy, risk, and compliance domains.

You will mentor SDETs, drive cross-team QA practices, and partner with offshore teams to elevate automation. This role anchors OneTrust’s mission to deliver trusted, reliable experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical or business field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience as a developer, automation engineer, or SDET.
• 10+ years of Java coding with strong OOP knowledge.
• 10+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, or 6+ years as automation engineer or SDET.
• 8+ years with Selenium for UI testing using BDD.
• 8+ years with RESTAssured, Postman or similar for API automation.
• 8+ years in highly automated and CD environments.
• 8+ years with GitLab/Bitbucket/GitHub.
• 8+ years with JIRA/ALM for defect tracking.
• 8+ years troubleshooting logs with Datadog, New Relic or Splunk.
• 8+ years with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• 4+ years testing mobile apps (Xcode, Appium, BrowserStack, HeadSpin).
• 4+ years API Contract Testing with Pact in CI/CD.
• 4+ years CI tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
• 8+ years collaborating with offshore teams.
• 1+ year AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf).
• 1+ year AI-first practices in software quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define automation architecture and release-validation practices across the connected product portfolio.
• Evolve toward AI-native SDLC with quality designed in from discovery to production.
• Set organization-wide standards for coverage, pass rate, determinism, and release readiness.
• Own testing strategy for mobile, cloud, and distributed systems in a global SaaS environment.
• Mentor SDETs, conduct peer reviews at scale, and drive automation across geographies.
