Job summary

Spring Health is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our hybrid team in one of our hub cities—New York, San Francisco, or Seattle. You will elevate the quality and clarity of complex care member and provider experiences, collaborating with PMs, Engineering, and Data Science to ship thoughtful product experiences that drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience designing digital products.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design skills and a refined design sensibility.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
• Ability to move fast without sacrificing quality in a product-driven environment.
• High bar for visual design, interaction design, and overall user experience.
• Comfort using data and feedback to inform decisions while maintaining strong design judgment.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design elegant, intuitive, and high-quality product experiences across complex care journeys.
• Improve the overall look, feel, and usability of products with a strong visual point of view.
• Collaborate with your pod to understand user problems and translate into solutions.
• Rapidly deliver production-ready designs balancing craft with speed.
• Partner with cross-functional teammates to validate what to build and ensure measurable impact.
• Refine and elevate design quality of shipped experiences through iteration and attention to detail.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system for consistency and scalability.
• Communicate design decisions through high-quality artifacts and presentations.
• Create experiences that are simple, thoughtful, and human by combining empathy with strong design instincts.
