Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager for Risk to lead cross-Risk and cross-Stripe initiatives that change how risk is managed and applied across our platform. You will set direction, drive execution with engineering, data science, and product teams, and mentor other PMs to raise product thinking and execution quality.

You will partner with Risk leadership to shape long-term strategy, align multiple teams, and deliver scalable infrastructure and product experiences that reduce risk

Qualifications

• Track record of identifying and delivering high-impact initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations.
• Ability to bring clarity to deeply ambiguous problems and drive execution and adoption.
• Strong technical judgment across data, ML/AI, APIs, platforms, and system architecture.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering, data science, and product leaders to shape direction.
• Strong product judgment across infrastructure and user-facing experiences; builds scalable capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-organization alignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-leverage problems that cut across teams and establish measurable outcomes.
• Lead major cross-Risk and cross-Stripe initiatives from shaping through delivery and adoption.
• Shape data and AI strategy to identify and mitigate risk at scale.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and ML leaders on architecture, data foundations, models, and APIs.
• Help product teams leverage Risk capabilities quickly while guiding reusable infrastructure.
• Define multi-year strategy with clear investments and sequencing decisions.
• Coach PMs to improve product judgment, technical depth, and execution quality.
