Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to shape technical vision and long-term ML strategy for the Consumer Incentives team.

You will tackle personalization, measure incremental impact, and optimize investments to drive customer value and sustainable growth. The role spans ML, optimization, experimentation, and large-scale systems, leading initiatives across teams and translating advances into reliable products with measurable business outcomes.

Competenze

• Masters or Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.
• 12+ years of ML experience, including large-scale DL systems.
• Ownership of high-impact ML systems (search, recommendations, personalization, targeting).
• Ability to set technical strategy for a large org and influence product roadmaps at exec level.
• Strong product intuition linking model improvements to business outcomes.

• Set long-term ML vision, architecture, and roadmap for Consumer Incentives.
• Lead strategic initiatives from problem formulation to deployment and improvement.
• Advance personalization and optimization to improve incentive relevance and impact.
• Architect scalable ML systems with pipelines, training, inference, and monitoring.
