Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for the Rider Intelligence team in the US.

You will shape the technical and scientific direction of homepage personalization and drive the design of ML solutions that improve user experience and engagement across Rides, Eats, Grocery, and more. You will partner with product teams to deliver personalized experiences, mentor engineers across levels, and lead the adoption of advanced ML methods, including sequential models,

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in ML, DL, and recommendation systems including ranking and sequential modeling.
• Proficiency in Python3 with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience leading complex ML initiatives and influencing technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Define ML technical strategy for homepage personalization and recommendations.
