You will develop process flows, validate layouts, and design experiments, collaborating with CAD and process/tool experts. Strong communication and cross-functional leadership are essential; US citizenship is required for potential government clearances.

Qualifications

BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Eng, Materials Science, Chemical Eng, Physics, or related discipline.
BS and 7 years or MS and 5 years or PhD and 2-3 years of engineering experience in a semiconductor fab or lab environment.
Basic knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and equipment.
Strong organizational skills and work ethic; exceptional oral and written communication; able to thrive in a large cross-functional program; US Citizenship required for government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive process flows for wafer manufacturing and ensure seamless execution.
Collaborate with CAD engineers to validate incoming layout files and construct frames with metrology boxes and electrical test structures.
Implement data collection schemes and work with process and tool experts to formulate effective process recipes.
Design and conduct experiments to validate and optimize process recipes.
Liaise with failure analysis lab to submit samples for cross-sectioning and drive continuous improvement.
Monitor customer material and address processing issues to ensure smooth workflow.
Lead regular customer meetings to update on project progress as materials move through production.
Deliver process reviews to transition devices to full-scale production.
