Job summary

SkyWater Technology in Minnesota is seeking a Principal Integration Engineer to lead the development of new technologies and drive device qualification and transfer to volume manufacturing.

You will collaborate with CAD and process teams, design experiments, develop process flows, and ensure successful transitions to production, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a related engineering field with semiconductor fab experience.
• Extensive experience leading integration projects in a fab or lab.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive process flows for wafer manufacturing and ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with CAD engineers to validate layout files and construct frames with metrology boxes.
• Design and conduct experiments to validate and optimize process recipes.
• Liaise with failure analysis lab to submit samples for cross-sectioning and improvements.
• Monitor customer materials and address processing issues to maintain workflow.
• Lead regular project reviews with customers as materials move through production.
