Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Foundational proficiency in at least one backend language (Go/Java/Python/Rust).
• Cloud-native knowledge with AWS or GCP; Kubernetes and containers.
• Deep Linux internals, process management, resource isolation.
• Networking, security basics, OSI model, service meshes, zero-trust concepts.
• Distributed systems and CAP, eventual consistency, tracing.
• Reliable execution and proactive task estimation across sprints.
• Analytical debugging with logs and tests to catch edge cases.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and code-review participation.
• Willingness to learn new tools and embrace AI-assisted coding.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-scale developer tooling and backend services for a cloud environment.
• Define and deploy IaC using Terraform to ensure reproducible environments.
• Identify systemic bottlenecks in the SDLC and drive tooling improvements.
• Ensure infrastructure resilience under heavy traffic with optimization.
• Provide strategic leadership, set platform standards, and mentor teams.
