Job summary

FX Energy Group, LLC in Texas seeks a Senior Staff Geologist to lead geological evaluations, subsurface mapping, log interpretation, and integration of geophysical data to support exploration, development, and production decisions.

You will identify recompletion opportunities, evaluate new drill infill or step-out development, and support A&D evaluations and leasing activity with robust geological input.

Qualifications

• Senior geologist with experience leading geological evaluations.
• Strong ability to integrate subsurface data for decision making.
• Experience in exploration, development and production contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead geological evaluations and subsurface mapping efforts.
• Interpret logs and integrate geophysical data for projects.
• Support A&D evaluations and leasing activities with geology input.
• Develop recompletion opportunities and collaborations with engineering.
• Produce maps, cross sections, and volumetric estimates.
