Job summary

CSI Recruiting is partnering with a Fort Worth-based E&P company to recruit a Senior Geoscientist who will evaluate acquisition opportunities and identify development potential across conventional oil and gas assets in Texas and Oklahoma.

Based in Fort Worth, this hands-on role mixes geology and geophysics, requiring seismic interpretation, well log analysis, structural interpretation, and map creation, to support acquisitions, development planning, and value optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience with active E&P company on domestic onshore assets.
• Experience with 3D seismic interpretation for exploration and development.
• Strong preference for TX and OK conventional oil/gas experience.
• Proficiency in seismic interpretation, well log analysis, mapping, and reservoir characterization.
• Experience using Kingdom Geoscience Software.

Responsibilities

• Lead geologic and geophysical evaluation of acquisitions.
• Develop plans to maximize value of existing assets.
• Create and maintain structure, net pay, and reservoir maps.
• Interpret well logs, core, seismic, and well tests to refine models.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineering to select well locations.
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Utilize Kingdom software daily for interpretation and mapping.
• Work with operations to plan development projects.
