Job description

CSI Recruiting is working with a Fort Worth-based E&P company, assisting in the search for an an experienced Senior Geoscientist to evaluate acquisition opportunities and identify development potential across its portfolio of conventional oil and gas assets. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, this position will work closely with the company's CEO, VP of Land & Business Development, Manager of Reservoir Engineering, and Manager of Operations. This is a unique role where the client is hoping to hire an experienced geologist and geophysicist, finding that combination of skills and experience in one person.

The role has two primary areas of responsibility: leading the geologic and geophysical evaluation of potential acquisitions and developing plans to maximize the value of existing assets. The geographic focus will be Texas and Oklahoma, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in conventional oil and gas projects in these regions.

This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced geoscientist who brings sound subsurface judgment, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative approach to evaluating opportunities and advancing development projects.
