Qualifications
- Extensive experience with EO/IR sensor development and laser technology.
- Experience designing EO/IR components for airborne or space platforms.
- Strong background in sensor performance modeling and data analysis.
- Ability to translate requirements into hardware and software specs.
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary EO/IR projects.
- Proven capability to present technical solutions to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and integration of EO/IR sensor subsystems.
- Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specs.
- Develop and leverage high-fidelity EO/IR performance models.
- Model sensor performance on airborne platforms.
- Gather stakeholder input, synthesize data, and present results.
- Collaborate across programs on best practices and problem solving.
- Assess operational effectiveness and guide system tradeoffs.
- Lead the EO/IR team through development and validation activities.
- Build and test hardware prototypes in lab environments.
