Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL seeks an engineer to contribute to the development and testing of EO/IR subsystems for airborne platforms. You will work on architectures, requirements, analyses, and interfaces, collaborating with suppliers and program stakeholders.

The role requires a degree in electrical/Computer engineering with 0–2 years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain US government clearance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
• Knowledge of EO/IR phenomenology.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Clearance.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).

Responsabilidades

• Support development and integration of EO/IR subsystems to meet platform objectives.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Perform functional and performance analyses and trade studies.
• Review supplier documents and support design reviews.
• Conduct informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in lab.
