Responsibilities

  • Support components selection, procurement and qualification during prototype and post-product-launch phases.
  • Support product bring-up and qualification.
  • Manage prototypes across cross-functional teams and ensure they are at the latest revision.
  • Perform basic rework in the lab or coordinate product rework through contract manufacturers and third parties.
  • Support environmental and compliance testing and help ensure compliance certification is current.
  • Create product-related documentation, including compliance certificates, MTBF and product manuals.
  • Support product sustaining by helping create test setups and scripts to triage failures.
  • Work with the HW engineering team to introduce leading-edge network security appliances.
  • Help coordinate JDM/ODM/OEM projects.

Requirements
  • Associate degree or higher

  • Strong engineering technician with an associate degree and 6-8 years of lab experience, or entry level with a degree in electrical engineering and hands‑on lab experience
  • Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HW, SW and manufacturing
  • Willingness to learn and help in any area of product development and bring‑up
