Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Senior Hardware NPI Coordinator to drive new product introductions for complex electronics, including PCBA assemblies and avionics hardware. You will lead DFM, DFA, and DFT initiatives, coordinate build readiness, and work closely with contract manufacturers to resolve manufacturing issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field required.
8+ years of experience combining electronics manufacturing expertise with technical program or NPI coordination responsibilities.
Hands-on experience with PCBA manufacturing, SMT, electronic assembly processes, or test integration.
Experience in electronics manufacturing and product development environments.
Strong understanding and demonstrated implementation of DFM, DFA, and DFT principles.
Experience working with contract manufacturers or EMS providers on build execution, process development, or issue resolution.
Experience driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, or process improvements.
Ability to manage complex technical programs while maintaining hands-on engineering involvement.
Knowledge of IPC standards, electronics manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
Experience with manufacturing readiness reviews, build readiness reviews, or technical process validation.
Experience managing NPI programs from prototype through pilot build and production ramp.
Experience with scalable production systems or manufacturing processes designed for volume growth.
Background in hardware technical program management, manufacturing program management, product operations, or similar cross-functional hardware execution roles.
Experience with complex, multi-board electronic systems, avionics assemblies, or electronics products transitioned from prototype to production.
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Help transition advanced electronics and avionics from prototype to flight-ready hardware for next-generation lunar systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
