Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to anchor the Channels division, guiding architecture and delivering scalable delivery platforms. You will split time between technical leadership and hands-on work on critical projects, partnering with managers to ensure a maturing, high‑quality product experience.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural improvements, and champion reliability across the dashboard and delivery layers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership across teams or complex product systems.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and modern frontend environments (TypeScript, React).
• Designed and shipped foundational infrastructure used by many engineers.
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to balance abstraction and simplicity.
• Effective communicator and mentor who elevates colleagues through coaching and vision.

Responsibilities

• Partner on the technical vision and quality bar for the division and drive architectural direction.
• Lead large, ambiguous projects end-to-end from framing to rollout and support.
• Help teams evolve stacks to support marketing use cases with flexible primitives.
• Mentor engineers at every level and drive tech decisions toward business outcomes.
• Improve observability, reliability, and operability across dashboards and delivery layers.
• Write code and build foundational systems enabling scale across the organization.
