Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Media Foundation to lead a team that builds and operates the media infrastructure powering photo, video, and documents across the platform.

You will own reliability, scalability, and evolution of the systems, set technical strategy and architecture across teams, mentor managers, and collaborate with Product, Design, Trust, and Infrastructure to deliver high‑quality media experiences at global scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in industry with 6+ years in engineering management.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in large-scale distributed systems and media/content infrastructure.
• Strong product instinct and communication skills; influence across teams.
• Track record of leading large cross‑team initiatives with business impact.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within teams.

Responsibilities

• Set technical strategy and architecture for media infrastructure across multiple teams.
• Lead, coach, and grow managers and senior technical leads.
• Partner with Product, Design, Trust, and infrastructure orgs to shape a resilient roadmap.
• Champion engineering excellence and operational rigor; address technical debt.
• Retain, grow, and hire a diverse team to execute the media platform vision.
