Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Engineering Manager for Product Engineers to lead a high-performing team building the core developer experience on the company platform. You will pair technical leadership with product thinking to translate user needs into scalable systems used daily by developers.

You will guide technical direction, grow engineers, and ensure the team ships meaningful improvements quickly while upholding high platform standards and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an Engineer shipping products with business impact.
• 2+ years leading people, mentoring engineers, and performance management.
• Strong system design, architecture, and engineering tradeoff skills.
• Product-oriented mindset with roadmaps and shipped features.
• Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution and quality.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of product engineers through mentorship and guidance.
• Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch.
• Partner with Product and Design to translate customer needs into technical roadmaps.
• Engage in system design decisions and navigate architectural tradeoffs.
• Foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across practices.
• Break down complex problems into milestones delivering value quickly.
• Ensure developer experience and customer impact are understood and acted on.
• Collaborate with product, customers, and internal teams to align priorities.
