Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is looking for a Staff Platform Architect to shape and evolve the core platform architecture. You will enable 80+ engineers and open-source contributors, guiding architecture across execution, infrastructure, and frontend platform domains.

You’ll lead with RFCs, design durable interfaces, and mentor multiple teams to ensure coherent evolution as the company scales globally. Remote-first collaboration is encouraged across Europe and the US.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading architecture across multiple systems or teams.
• Strong reasoning about invariants, correctness, failure modes, and trade-offs.
• Experience designing configurable, scalable backend and platform foundations.

Responsibilities

• Shape core platform architecture across execution, infrastructure, and frontend platform teams.
• Lead architectural decisions with RFCs and durable platform interfaces.
