Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Physical Verification Specialist in Hillsboro, OR to help customers tackle advanced node verification challenges. You will deliver timely solutions, conduct training, and drive adoption of IC Validator across customer engagements.

You will develop verification flows and runsets in TCL/Python, collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering and Sales, and travel as needed to support customers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in physical verification (LVS/DRC/FILL/PERC).
• Experience with IC Validator, Calibre or Pegasus.
• Knowledge of backend physical design flows (FC/Innovus) and Custom layouts.
• Strong debugging, documentation and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Understand customers' Physical Verification challenges and provide timely solutions.
• Support the sale and adoption of IC Validator to improve performance and timelines.
• Provide expertise in physical verification for advanced node designs.
• Manage multiple customer activities, including demonstrations and evaluations.
• Conduct training sessions, resolve technical issues, and offer technical account management.
• Collaborate with account teams to develop tailored solutions addressing customer needs.
• Create flows in TCL/Python and develop runsets for DRC/LVS/FILL/PERC.
