Job summary

Synopsys Inc. seeks a seasoned Physical Verification Specialist to drive advanced verification workflows for state-of-the-art semiconductor designs in a customer-facing role.

You will deliver solutions for DRC/LVS/FILL/PERC, develop TCL/Python runsets, and collaborate with RD, Product Eng, and Sales to accelerate IC Validator adoption. The role requires 7+ years in physical verification, strong scripting skills, and experience with IC Validator, Calibre or Pegasus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in physical verification flows (LVS/DRC/FILL/PERC)
• Experience with runset development and TCL/Python flows
• Experience with IC Validator, Calibre or Pegasus EDA tools
• Understanding of backend physical design flows and layout tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to train and present to customers

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand Physical Verification challenges and provide timely solutions
• Support the sale and adoption of IC Validator to improve customer performance and timelines
• Develop flows in TCL/Python and write runsets for DRC/LVS/FILL/PERC
• Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarks
• Collaborate with RD, Product Eng, and Sales to drive tool adoption and customer success
• Deliver technical account management and training sessions
