Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a visionary Sr. Staff Engineer to lead architectural innovation at scale, shaping long-term technical strategy and enabling cross-functional execution across product and engineering.

You will define architectural vision, establish patterns for quality and reliability, and mentor senior engineers while driving initiatives to improve velocity, observability, and sustainability with customer needs at the center.

Qualifications

12+ years of professional software engineering with group-level leadership.
Experience with Kotlin, Java or Go and scalable system design.
Experience scaling shared infrastructure across multiple teams.
Proficiency with CI/CD workflows and cloud infra (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
Ability to drive architectural clarity and strategic alignment across functions.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing systems in alignment with business strategy.
Lead cross-org initiatives that address long-term scale and foundational capabilities.
Establish patterns and governance for quality, resilience, and operational excellence.
