Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff Engineer (Multiple Positions) to join a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on shaping architecture and driving improvements across high-impact systems used at scale.

The position will partner closely with multiple engineering teams to solve ambiguous problems, improve reliability and performance, and turn strong technical direction into practical execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Expert in event-driven architectures and streaming protocols, including Server-Sent Events and WebSockets.
• Proficient in Go, Java, Rust, or similar systems programming languages.
• Experience delivering and operating production software at scale and with complexity.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across multiple teams without formal authority.
• Proven ability to communicate architecture and design trade-offs clearly.
• Track record of transforming ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
