Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build and scale the DevX developer infrastructure. You will manage monorepo builds with Bazel, own the remote build execution cluster, and drive fast, reliable CI pipelines for thousands of daily builds.

You will also improve onboarding, provide remote development environments, and enable developers to code, test, and deploy with minimal friction across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining developer infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, or large-scale build systems (e.g., Bazel).
• Proficiency writing clean, maintainable code in Go or Python.
• Experience with distributed or remote build execution systems, and containerization/orchestration using Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize monorepo builds using Bazel and own the remote build execution cluster.
• Scale CI pipelines to support thousands of daily builds with speed, safety, and reliability.
• Improve the developer onboarding experience and reduce time-to-first-commit.
• Provide and maintain remote development environments to accelerate local workflows.
