Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to lead the Customer Management engineering org, setting the technical agenda for foundational platforms and horizontal teams. You will manage 100+ engineers, drive multi-year modernization, and deliver real‑time credit decisioning and offers using data and GenAI tools.

You will code hands-on, mentor leaders, and partner with product management to expand Capital One’s reach across channels while maintaining high reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 9 years in software engineering and solution architecture.
• At least 9 years in enterprise architecture and design patterns.
• At least 9 years in JavaScript, TypeScript and SPA frameworks.
