Job summary

LiveView Technologies seeks a Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer to lead the embedded camera software roadmap, owning architecture from firmware to streaming and analytics. You will collaborate across hardware, cloud, and product teams in a JDM framework.

Role supports remote work or on‑site in Utah or Seattle, with regular travel to American Fork and JDM partners. We value deep embedded Linux, Yocto, and edge AI experience across video systems.

Qualifications

• Senior Staff/Staff level embedded software with 10+ years of experience.
• Deep expertise in embedded Linux, BSP bring‑up, and Yocto distributions.
• Strong in C/C++ with optional Go and hardware awareness.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in JDM environments.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and hands‑on implementation for embedded camera platforms.
• Drive edge device software from device firmware to streaming and analytics.
• Lead cross‑functional work with hardware, product, and cloud teams.
• Mentor engineers and oversee rigorous architecture reviews.
• Guide AI model deployment on edge hardware and memory/latency trade‑offs.
• Collaborate in a JDM model with external partners and vendors.
