Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, data analysis, and programming.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design and simulation.
• Hands-on laboratory and experimental engineering skills.
• Ability to solder and perform electronic circuit assembly, wiring, and prototype development.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate analog and digital electronic circuits.
• Develop circuitry incorporating microcontrollers, FPGAs, and electro-optical components.
• Support high-reliability, fault-tolerant electronic systems for undersea applications.
• Develop verification and qualification strategies for new designs.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute product qualification testing.
• Develop test plans and procedures for design verification and factory testing.
• Support introduction and transfer of new designs into manufacturing.
• Prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of components and assemblies.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and analyze test data for performance and reliability.
• Support component selection and evaluation for high-reliability applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines and with suppliers.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and drive issue resolution.
• Maintain engineering documentation, test records, and reports.
• Ensure work complies with procedures, quality requirements, and standards.
