Job summary

Northwest Talent Solutions LLC, Carlsbad, CA, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer to join an advanced electro-optics team. You will own designs from concept through integration and test, working with hardware, software, FPGA, and optical engineers in a fully onsite environment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of hands-on experience in analog, digital and mixed-signal design, PCB layout, and embedded C programming. A TS/SCI-style clearance is preferred pending eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Experience owning designs from concept through integration and test.
• Hands-on hardware development across analog, digital, power and mixed-signal domains.
• Strong PCB/electronics design, schematic capture and simulation skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Own development across lifecycle from concept to test.
• Design analog/digital/mixed-signal electronics and schematics.
• Develop and test mixed-signal low-voltage boards.
• Program/debug embedded microcontrollers in C.
• Lead bench integration with hardware, software and FPGA.
